Springtime at BLC & Our Mission

Springtime!  A time of flowers blooming, grass growing and trees coming back to life.  The days get longer and the weather turns warmer. We can open our windows and let the house air out from the staleness of winter.  We begin to hear the sound of lawn mowers and smells of freshly cut grass.  What an amazing time of year!

Our residents at both The Seasons@Alexandria and The Village@Erlanger are excited for this time of year to be able to get out and about without wearing heavy coats.

At The Seasons@Alexandria, Springtime means residents and their families can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine in the many designated areas with patio tables and chairs, fire pits, benches or stroll on our paved walking path.

At The Village@Erlanger campus, Springtime means residents and their families and friends can soak up the sun on the benches of the covered front entrance or take a leisurely walk over to the Kenton County Library and check out a book.

Unfortunately, Spring 2020 is different. Our world is going through some ever-changing times with a lot of unknowns with the Corona Virus pandemic.  One thing is for sure and never-changing and that’s Jesus Christ.  Baptist Life Communities’ Mission Statement is:  “Using the ministry of Jesus Christ as our model to provide quality of life options to assist adults 55+ to remain active by maintaining a healthy lifestyle.” With that said, we put our trust in Him and not fear during these times. Matthew 6:26-27 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

BLC as an organization is doing everything we can to protect your loved ones and staying on top of the updated guidelines and procedures necessary to do so.  Thank you to families and friends of our residents for your patience and understanding.  We want you to get to see your loved ones as soon there is no longer a risk.

If you would like to speak to one of our Chaplains about your spiritual health and/or any uneasiness you are feeling due to the state of our country right now, please contact Chaplain Ray Coates at 859.447.1121.
